Charles and Ray Eames – Design duo
The couple Eames is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they have also made films, photographed and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and size
Seat and back are made of sewn-on cushion units with polyurethane foam upholstery in leather or Premium leather. The side profiles and tension brackets are made of polished die-cast aluminium and are available chrome-plated or powder-coated in deep black. The base is a 4-star base. The chair cannot be rotated.
You can choose between the classic and the new height:
Classic height: W 58 x D 59 x H 84 x SH 43 cm
New height: W 58 x D 59 x H 81 x SH 40 cm
