One of the world's most famous designers: Terence Conran
Born in 1931, the founder of the Habitat chain of well-known interior design products revolutionised decoration in the 1960s and 70s. Conran owns shops, hotels, restaurants and handles major international projects with his architecture and design agency. He founded the Design Museum in London and has sold 30 million of his publications worldwide. "People don't know what they want until you offer it to them," Terence Conran liked to say. For him, the garden is a place of inspiration, dreams and relaxation.
