Wonderful design meets incomparable seating comfort. The Back-Wing armchair by Patricia Urquiola simply has an engaging nature. The solid wooden frame with the thickly upholstered seat and the all-round backrest, the sides of which function as armrests in two wings, has a particularly inviting effect and the seating feeling is extraordinarily comfortable.

The Spanish-born designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. in 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.
Cassina - a traditional Italian company
Founded in 1927 by two brothers, Cassina was already doing pioneering work shortly afterwards: through the close cooperation of architects and designers from different fields, revolutionary innovations were achieved in terms of materials and design language.
In the meantime, it is impossible to imagine the world of furniture design without the traditional company and always convinces with a balanced combination of high-quality, natural materials, manual craftsmanship and advanced production methods.
