Fascinating idea: Zenc pendant lamp Marset
Industrial aesthetics and the water tanks on the roofs of buildings in New York gave designer Joan Gaspar the idea of creating a lamp that has a story and at the same time fulfils everything that constitutes modern design. Functionality, sophisticated optics and optimised technology. With the Zenc pendant lamp, the art director of the design lighting company Marset has succeeded in doing just that. At first glance, the lampshade looks as if it is made of zinc and that is exactly what is intended, even the joints look like that, but the shades are made of double-layer polyethylene in a centrifugal process and are available in different shades. The inside in each case has a white layer that reflects and highlights the light.
Design light magic: The manufacturing company Marset
The young designer lighting brand Marset from Spain, which attracts attention and awards worldwide, has made a name for itself with product classics such as the Discoco pendant lamp and the Funiculi floor lamp. In the showrooms in Barcelona, New York, Milan and Cologne, you can see impressively that a luminaire can be so much more than an ordinary source of light.
