Rounded off: W74 Constantin Side Table by Cassina
The Constantin Side Table could hardly be more extraordinary and sculptural. This masterpiece is part of the coveted Ultramobile collection and was designed in 1971 by Studio Simon as a tribute to the work of Constantin Brancusi. Inspired by the art of the famous Romanian sculptor, two industrially produced elements were combined into a perfect unit to give the structure an elegant sense of movement and continuity . Thus, the shapely side table can be staged well in the living room, but can also be shown off to advantage in the bedroom.
The little table presents a base made of solid oak with a fine wax finish, while the table top has a circular profile made of shiny brass foil. The side table measures 48 cm in diameter and 59 cm in height.
