An absolute eye-catcher for your outdoor area: the frame of the Tropicalia chaise longue made of tubular steel structure is covered with a plastic yarn. The resulting weave creates a particularly sophisticated graphic structure. If the wickerwork is single-coloured, it appears more elegant; if two or three-coloured cords are used, the lounger looks more playful.

Design by Patricia Urquiola 

Born in Spain, the designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. She then worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was a member of staff at Studio De Padova, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. in 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolios of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.

Moroso was founded in 1952 and has been synonymous with high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful designer furniture ever since. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural materials that are as recyclable as possible.
