Between intelligence and irony: Ping Pong utensil container large by B-line
The original design of the Ping Pong utensil holder by Magistretti dates back to 1986. The design of the flexible home accessory is still as impressive as ever. Ping Pong is reminiscent of the shape of a table tennis racket and has three compartments of different shapes and sizes with a practical recess at the top to make it easier to grip.
Designer Vico Magistretti
Vico Magistretti was born in Milan in 1920. He has been an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Art in London since 1983. He has participated in various exhibitions with his designs and has given lectures in Europe, America and Japan. Some of his works are part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York. His architectural works include the church of Santa Maria Nascenten and the Bassetti House in Azzate.
Material and format
Ping Pong is made of coloured aluminium. The large bowl measures 30 x 2.8 cm.
