Industrial Design: Panton Wire Single shelving system D26 from Montana
The Panton Wire system was designed by Verner Panton in 1971. The industrial-style wire shelving is uncomplicated, easy and elegant. The modules are available in different sizes and colours and can be used individually or in combination - on the floor, hanging on the wall or as a room divider. The rectangular modules and the hanging shelf are ideal for creating a more asymmetrical look. Add a cover shelf or an insert shelf to give your Panton Wire shelving system even more individuality!
Verner Panton - Designgenie
Born in Denmark, Verner Panton studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen after attending technical school in Odense. After graduating, he worked with the designer Arne Jacobsen and founded his own design studio in 1955. His Panton Chair is considered an absolute classic of modern furniture design and one of its early versions even made it into the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
