Comfortable: Lobby Chair ES 104 Chair by Vitra
Originally, the Lobby Chair was designed for the Time & Life Building in New York. Its luxurious leather upholstered cushions are ideal for prestigious offices. With its construction principle, the Lobby Chair by Ray and Charles Eames is reminiscent of a lounge chair.
The soft upholstered parts are connected by aluminium side panels. The comfort the upholstery creates can hardly be put into words - outstandingly comfortable!
Charles and Ray Eames – Design duo
The couple Eames is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they have also made films, photographed and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and size
The side parts of the backrest and seat as well as the underframe are made of die-cast aluminium. Like the seat and back, the armrests are covered with leather. It can be ordered with hard castors for carpeting and soft castors for hard floors. In addition, the chair has an adjustable backrest mechanism and can be infinitely adjusted in height by means of a gas spring.
