Design
The Italian designer and architect Gaetano Pesce was inspired by stone-age fertility statues, just think of the famous Venus of Willendorf.
La Mamma by B & B Italia is something very special, and not just in terms of appearance, but also in the way it is made, because the unconventional designer armchair is made entirely of polyurethane foam called Bayfit®. On a load-bearing construction La Mamma can do without. The cover, which has the beautiful name Lora, is made of 72% wool, 20% polyester and 8% polyamide or Soara 100% Polyester.
