Changeable: Fluxus-E table lamp from Cassina

Inspired by a Bic biros, the central design element of Fluxus-E by designer Paolo Ulian is a movable tube made of glass.

Playful and creative, the elegant table lamp consists of several of these tubes, which can be arranged in different ways on an aluminium base. Turned outwards like the petals of a lotus flower, turned inwards like a closed bud or in a creative alternation that creates complex, unique constructions.

The table lamp is equipped with a single LED module , which illuminates the centre and the edge of the design lamp in soft light. Fluxus-E also has smaller LED spotlights whose warm light is projected and diffused through the individual tubes.

Cassina - a company with tradition

Cassina was founded in 1927 by two brothers in the Italian town of Medina. Shortly after its foundation, Cassina was already doing truly pioneering work. By bringing together architects and designers with the most diverse CVs, interests and skills , an exciting mix of completely new ideas was created, which became characteristic of furniture from Cassina. The company encouraged people to break completely new ground in the areas of materials and design language in order to turn visions into reality.

Today, Cassina is a traditional company that relies on a balanced combination of manual craftsmanship and industrial production using highly developed machines in the manufacture of its furniture. By using natural materials such as leather and wood, a high degree of individuality is achieved.
