The marble tabletop is part of the re-edition of the famous Eames Coffee Table from 1949, designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Vitra relaunched the iconic table in 2016 together with the Eames Office.
Note on use
Marble is a precious but delicate material. The surface of this table top has been brushed and waxed to make it more robust. Nevertheless, it should be protected from acidic substances such as vinegar or lemon.

Carrara marble comes from the region of the same name in Tuscany, where it has been quarried since ancient times. The fine, grey veins give the stone its unique, natural pattern - each piece is one of a kind.
