The design
You can tell that the mobile pedestal is a child of the seventies (Boby was designed in 1970). The basic material is plastic and the designers of the time made plastic the new trend material for furniture. The Boby mobile pedestal wasdesigned by a design legend : Joe Colombo. Boby won an award as soon as it was launched, the SMAUAward. Boby is also part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
Material and format
As already mentioned, the Boby mobile pedestals from B-Line are made from plastic, more precisely from injection-moulded ABS plastic. The ABS plastic frame consists of modules with pull-out compartments and shelves. There are five castors underneath the mobile pedestal.
Boby B22 trolley is 43 cm wide, 52.5 cm high and 42 cm deep. Boby by Joe Colombo weighs 9.8 kilograms.
