Modern: Bell Coffee Table Brass by ClassiCon
The Bell Table marked the beginning of the collaboration between designer Sebastian Herkner and ClassiCon . Within a few years, this design became a kind of classic - probably because of the unexpected choice of materials: Glass is associated in the mind with filigree and fragile . In the case of the Bell Table, however, the glass is solid support in the form of the table base.
This version is also characterised by the metal top made of solid brass , which stands out in colour and provides a great contrast .
Designer Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. Even during his studies, he focussed on designing objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology . Subtle details and the natural beauty of the materials used also take centre stage. Herkner founded his own design studio in Offenbach am Mainin 2006 and has since designed products for numerous well-known companies . His work has alreadywon numerous awards.
Material and format
The table consists of a mouth-blown glass base in various colours and a metal top made of solid brass. The table top is made of black lacquered crystal glass. The table has a diameter of 75 cm and is 36 cm high.
