Transparent design: Radio in Cristallo by Cassina
The design of the Radio in Cristallo by Franco Albini dates back to 1938. Albini disassembled a radio that he had received as a wedding present and reassembled it, but this time with the electrical components in the middle of two panes of glass. The look is absolutely modern and still is today. The radio in Cristallo captivates the observer and exudes lightness in the room.
Cassina - a traditional Italian company
Founded in 1927 by two brothers, Cassina was already doing pioneering work shortly afterwards: the close cooperation of architects and designers from different fields led to revolutionary innovations in terms of materials and design language.

Material and format
The design radio made of glass and wood can be ordered with visible metal parts in satin or white lacquered stainless steel.
It is 72 cm wide, 66 cm deep and 28 cm high.
The FM and DAB radio in Cristallo is now available with integrated Bluetooth and optional subwoofer for connection to WLAN. (Android and iOS)
