Fascinating play of colours: 343 Tramonto a New York Paravent Cassina
With the screen by Gaetano Pesce , experience the breathtaking spectacle when the sunlight slowly moves across the sky of New York and bathes the city in a kaleidoscopic play of colours . Each of the three panels of the screen is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The renowned artist Pesce has poured layer upon layer of coloured resin into moulds with great dedication and skill to recreate the outline of the city. The different shades of the skyscraper facades, from purple and blue to pink and green, create a fascinating colour gradient that captivates the eye of the beholder. A large round sun in intense red rounds off the artwork perfectly.
This screen is not only a work of art, but also a functional room divider that adds a new dimension to your home. The three panels are connected by hinges and can be set up flexibly . The screen can be effortlessly integrated into any room and makes an impressive statement in any ambience.
Material and format
The panels are handmade from cast polyurethane resin and the hinges, feet and plaque are made from satin brass. The colours, specially developed for this project, were created by carefully mixing calibrated pigments to produce a stunning range of colours. This complex handcrafted process makes each piece unique and something you can proudly display in your home.
Each piece of the screen is unique and is guaranteed by an individual plaque with the name and year of the project, the consecutive production number, the Cassina logo and the signature of the artist Gaetano Pesce.
The screen has a total width of 221 cm and a total height of 199 cm. The three panels are 57 cm wide on the outside, 89 cm wide in the middle and 73 cm wide on the outside. The highest point is the sun in the middle, the blue-violet panel is 165 cm high and the green panel measures 179 cm in height.
