Around the design of Bok
The Bok series has become a modern classic by the manufacturer Ethnicraft. The first model - the Bok chair - was released in 2016, after several years of design and development by Alain van Havre. The designer hasthoughtfully designed the elegant design chair made of solid wood - with comfort and style in mind.
The Bok chair is available in lacquered or oiled oak, brown coloured and lacquered oak, black coloured and lacquered oak and natural teak. Thanks to the different versions, the manufacturer offers the possibility to place the series indoors as well as outdoors. With its curved lines, shapely edges and perfect design minimalism, the series adds an appealing touch to any interior.
In addition to the well-known and popular Bok chairs, the series also includes various tables, extension tables and a bench. The characteristic design perfectly complements all models and can thus be combined perfectly within itself. The many different dimensions and shapes of the dining table make the design so flexible that it fits any environment and any user. In this way, the dining table once again becomes a meeting place for the whole family.
The outdoor versions allow for use on the terrace or in the garden. Perfect for spending time outdoors, the design of the dining table and chair seat has been adapted with a slatted top made of solid teak. Available in teak or black coloured and lacquered teak, the Bok outdoor collection adds an expressive statement to a casual dinner. Seat cushions are available for maximum comfort, making outdoor living a simple pleasure.
