Ethnicraft - for the love of wood, nature and craftsmanship
Wood has always been one of the most durable materials in furniture design. With this conviction, the Belgian manufacturer Ethnicraft creates enchanting collections made of high-quality solid wood that go beyond the usual standards, but with an absolutely timeless character. Originally, company founder Philippe Delaisse imported handcrafted furnishings from Indonesia. As these were met with great enthusiasm in Europe, the desire to build furniture himself was born in 1995 - the birth of the brand. Responsible use of natural resources and high ecological standards have been firm principles of Ethnicraft's philosophy since the company was founded.
Material and format
The Bok outdoor chair from Ethnicraft is made from solid, polished teak. The natural oils in the wood ensure first-class weather resistance and protect the chair from heat and cold. Teak may turn a slightly greyish colour outdoors over time, which corresponds to the natural nature of the wood and is not a quality defect. Special glides are attached to the feet to prevent water absorption from the floor. The Bok outdoor chair is 50 cm wide, 54 cm deep and 76 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm.
