Balanced presence: The Lumiere XXL floor lamp by Foscarini

The Lumiere series created by designer Rodolfo Dordoni in 1990 now also includes a Lumiere XXL floor lamp, also manufactured by the Italian design professionals at Foscarini. The floor lamp has an impressive appearance without disturbing the harmony of modern furnishing styles: An effect that is due to the elegant proportions and unagitated materials.

As a floor lamp, the Lumiere XXL by Foscarini provides warm, direct light for reading or diffuse brightness in the living area. The lampshade is made of mouth-blown glass - called Incamiciato technique - and is available in white or grey. The shaft and base are made of aluminium, which has been processed and polished by hand. In the slightly darker alternative, the frame is lacquered with chrome black. With the dimmer on the transparent power cable, you can regulate the light intensity continuously.
