The Wire Chairs are not only reminiscent of theEames Plastic Chairs in their form, they are also direct variations of the well-known designer chairs by Vitra. With their simple four-legged tubular steel base, they fit perfectly into any ambience and are even suitable for outdoor use in the powder-coated version.
Charles and Ray Eames - design duo
The Eames couple is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, the two also made films, took photographs and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of the Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and format
The DKW is a chair without upholstery. It is made of shaped and welded steel wire. It is available in chrome-plated or powder-coated versions. The powder-coated version is suitable for outdoor use. It is 49 cm wide, 51 cm deep and 85 cm high. Its seat height is 43 cm.
