Material and size
The Carry Me baskets are made of rattan using traditional craftsmanship. The lower basket is 65 cm wide, 44.5 cm deep and 26 cm high; the higher basket is 66 cm high and 47 cm in diameter. There are two finger holes on each side.
Rattan
Rattan is a climbing plant from the jungle. There are about 600 species of rattan. Thanks to its rapid growth, rattan is extremely popular in sustainability circles. Furniture is mainly made of rattan tankers. Please use the Carry Me rattan baskets exclusively indoors.
Design
Maria Berntsen holds a degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Art and the I'Ecole d'Architecture de Bordeaux. She founded her own design studio in 1992. Berntsen has designed for numerous international brands, from Georg Jensen to Holmegaard. In the course of her career, Maria Berntsen has also received several awards: from the Red Dot Design Award to the Design Award Germany. We are certain that a few more will follow.
