Børge Mogensen - Designer of Danish modernism
In Børge Mogensen's creative career, he has mainly designed durable pieces that focus on the human being. He became one of the most influential furniture designers of the post-war period and a leading representative of Danish modernism. Mogensen's innovative design includes simple and functional wooden furniture for private and public spaces, with smooth aesthetics and strong construction as well as high quality. He believed in visual clarity and minimal decoration as can be seen in this piece.
Material and format
The cabinet is made of veneer, manufactured from FSC®-certified oiled oak. Depending on the variation, the door is made of lacquered MDF or oak veneer. The frame is made of powder-coated steel. The cabinet measures 150cm in width, 37cm in depth and 69cm in height.
