The Aplomb pendant luminaire from Foscarini is particularly innovative and unique because its shade is made of hand-cast concrete. The design duo Lucidi & Pevere are known for their innovative and special designs.
The classic grey tone of the raw concrete gives the design luminaire an undreamt-of depth, but the other colours can also score points. The luminaire is best seen over small tables, peninsulas and benches, but can also be combined nicely in other places.
Design duo Lucidi & Pevere
Research stands for the design duo around Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere at the beginning of a new design. After their study phase, the two designers founded their own studio in Udine and set themselves the challenge of developing ever new types of products. Their research and collaboration with Foscarini resulted in a special luminaire collection: the Aplomb, which unites architecture and design.
Foscarini - Italian lighting design
Foscarini was founded in 1981 on the Venetian island of Murano. The Italian manufacturer designs, develops and manufactures lighting fixtures that inspire both in their switched-on and switched-off form. Maximum creative freedom is guaranteed by the manufacturer's independence from production requirements. Foscarini has been working closely with various international designers for more than 35 years.
