Try comfort: Soft Pad Chaise ES 106 from Vitra
For their friend of many years, the director Billy Wilder, Ray and Charles Eames developed a couch on which he could take a nap and relax during his shooting breaks. The result was the Soft Pad Chaise couch, which with its leather-covered, soft cushions offers a particularly pleasant lying comfort.
The design couch is equipped with six cushions that have zippers and are attached to an aluminium frame. Two loose cushions add to the comfort.
Charles and Ray Eames – Design duo
The couple Eames is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they have also made films, photographed and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and size
The upholstery is made of leather and consists of six upholstery units and two loose cushions. The base is made of die-cast aluminium with a smooth powder-coated finish.
