Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

The Bouroullec design duo consists of brothers Ronan and Erwan, who were born in Quimper, France. Since 1999, the two have been running their design studio in the Belleville neighbourhood of Paris as equal partners. From small everyday objects to large architectural projects - their field of work is extremely varied.

Material and format

The Slow Chair and Ottoman have an innovative cover made of form-knitted high-tech textile, which is characterised by its dimensional stability and ergonomic adaptability. The construction is supported by a delicate, powder-coated aluminium frame. The armchair measures 95 cm in width, 94 cm in depth and 89 cm in height - with a seat height of 40 cm. The ottoman is 70 cm wide, 53 cm deep and 36.5 cm high. The duo is available in various subtle colours that underline the modern design and open up a wide range of design options. The included cushions (40 × 30 cm and 65 × 30 cm) and a removable neck cushion are filled with recycled PET fibres (supportive comfort) and recycled polyester (soft comfort) from post-consumer waste. The Flocca cover is made of 30% polyacrylic, 28% virgin wool, 16% polyester, 11% viscose, 10% cotton, 5% linen.

Care instructions: Shake and fluff the cushions regularly to maintain their shape and fullness.
