Arne Jacobsen & Verner Panton - A tribute to two masters
Although the Series 7 chair was designed by the legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971), this edition honours another giant of Danish design: Verner Panton (1926-1998). Panton was famous for his love of experimentation and his courage to break with shapes, materials and, above all, colours. He believed that colour was just as important a design element as form itself and revolutionised the world of interior design.
