Low-flyer: Seiltänzer bed 200 from Nils Holger Moormann
Looking fora simple bed with that certain something? Then Seiltänzer is exactly THE bed for you! The Seiltänzer collection from Moormann is characterised by its reduction to the essentials, high-quality materials and, of course, the eponymous "rope", which is available in red or black. The Seiltänzer bed was designed in 2019.
Workmanship
The bed frame is made of FU (birch plywood) with untreated ash veneer; the corner stretcher and centre bar are made of untreated ash. The rope is made of hard-wearing polyester
Where does it come from? The plywood comes from Finnish forests, the solid wood from regional Bavarian sources. The frame is made of nitrided steel. The velvety look of the steel legs is created by a special surface treatment, which not only looks good but also protects the steel from rust. Slight traces of production are due to the bending process and are intentional.
Different widths
Height and length are always the same. The Seiltänzer bed from Moormann is 34.6 cm high and 218.6 cm long (corresponds to a mattress length of 200 cm). You can choose between four width formats: 140 cm, 160 cm, 180 cm and 200 cm. These widths refer to the width of the mattress. The total width of the bed, i.e. including the frame, is then 158.6 cm, 178.6 cm, 198.6 cm or 218.6 cm.
Height
- between the slatted frame support and the top edge of the bed frame: 2.2 cm (with slatted frame cover 7.2 cm)
- clearance height under bed frame: 28.5 cm (under the centre bar 25.4 cm)
Please note that the bed is supplied WITHOUT a mattress (recommended mattress height: between 15 and 20 cm). Slatted frame and tools are included in the scope of delivery.
