Designer Juliette Liberman is a trained carpenter who has a perfect command of materials and manufacturing techniques and uses them in her furniture creations. The Charivari bench was the final project for her diploma. The manufacturing process is reminiscent of the steam-bent ship's frames used by naval carpenters. The wooden prototype became a metal bench in Fermob's workshops. A masterpiece of the highest order.
