In Vitra's Aluminium Chair Group, the EA 124 takes the place of the Lounge Chair. The very high backrest with the pillow and the adjustable tilt mechanism provide the necessary comfort to fully fulfil this role.

Aluminium Chair Group
This collection is considered one of the most important furniture designs of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames developed the Aluminium Chairs for the private home of an art collector in Columbus in 1958. Whether at home, in the office or in public spaces - the series includes models for a wide variety of occasions.
Charles and Ray Eames – Design duo
The couple Eames is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they have also made films, photographed and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and size
The design chair has high-frequency welded upholstery units in Hopsak, leather or Premium leather. The side profiles and tension brackets are made of polished die-cast aluminium, which is available chrome-plated or powder-coated in deep black. The base is a 4-star base.
