Simple yet breathtaking: Ventaglio table by Cassina
This multifunctional table is unique in terms of design and function. The structure consists of a simple but perfect arrangement of fourteen adjacent rods that come together to form an elegant, fan-shaped whole. Thanks to different sizes, the Ventaglio can be used as a dining table for five to nine people as well as a work table for several employees in the office, because the asymmetrical tabletop also offers enough space for the computer and other work utensils.
Charlotte Perriand
After making a name for herself in 1927 with her "Bar under the Roof", she worked for many years with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in their famous studio at 35 Rue de Sèvres in Paris. She then gained further experience in Japan. In her creations, Perriand succeeded in combining innovative rationalism with modern, aesthetic values and thus created a new way of living.
Cassina - a traditional Italian company
Founded in 1927 by two brothers, Cassina was already doing pioneering work shortly afterwards: the close cooperation of architects and designers from different fields led to revolutionary innovations in terms of materials and design language.
In the meantime, it is impossible to imagine the world of furniture design without the traditional company and always convinces with a balanced combination of high-quality, natural materials, manual craftsmanship and advanced production methods.
