This Bauhaus classic continues to impress with its elegant look. The iconic chaise longue, designed by architectural legend Le Corbusier in collaboration with designer Charlotte Perriand and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, is an immortal evergreen in the design furniture industry.

Formerly known as the LC4, the design lounger was renamed by the manufacturer Cassina in 2022 to honour the collaboration of other designers on the classic series.
Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand
Born in 1887, the Swiss-French architect, artist and furniture designer is considered one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. In 1922, Le Corbusier began working with Pierre Jeanneret in his studio in the Rue de Sèvres in Paris, and five years later the aspiring architect Charlotte Perriand joined them. Together with Corbusier's cousin Pierre Jeanneret, they dedicated themselves to the innovative project "l'équipement d'intérieur de l'habitation". This collaboration proved to be very successful, particularly in the area of furniture design. Today, designer furniture is produced by Cassina. They continue to impress with their timeless design and enjoy unbroken popularity.
Cassina - a traditional Italian company
Founded in 1927 by two brothers, Cassina was already doing pioneering work shortly afterwards: the close collaboration between architects and designers from different fields led to revolutionary innovations in terms of materials and design language.
Since then, the traditional company has become an integral part of the world of furniture design and continues to impress with a balanced combination of high-quality, natural materials, manual craftsmanship and advanced production methods.
Material and format
This version of the 4 chaise longue has a choice of a chrome-plated or black lacquered steel base frame. The cover is available in Scozia leather and in black or patterned fur. The bolster is covered in black leather.
The lounger is 160 cm long, 56 cm deep and 70-81 cm high.
