Classic: The Ant Chair 3100 3-legged frame Fritz Hansen
The Ant Chair is a very versatile chair. It is very often used in conference rooms, canteens, offices and in private areas.
Originally the Ant was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the canteen of Novo Nordisk, a Danish company. The Fritz Hansen classic is now one of the icons of the collection.
At first this was uncertain, as Fritz Hansen was not immediately convinced of the potential of this chair. The chair survived the initial scepticism when Arne Jacobsen vouched for the purchase of all chairs that were not sold.
Material and form
Despite its graceful and minimalist shape, the Ant is an exceptionally comfortable chair. The Arne Jacobsen chair is a stackable wooden chair with a chrome-plated frame with three legs.
