The Please swivel chair from Steelcase is as flexible as your spine, as it is the only chair with a horizontally split backrest. With these flexible and independently adjustable back sections, the swivel chair offers unparalleled ergonomics. Thanks to its intuitive and precise adjustment function, the chair adapts completely individually to its user.
Tailor-made comfort with LTC²
This remarkable patented synchronous mechanism consists of two horizontal back sections. The abbreviation LTC stands for lumbar, thoracic and cervical and thus for ideal support in the lumbar, thoracic and neck areas. The backrest areas for the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae are connected, but function completely independently of each other - as do the lower and upper areas of your spine.
If you change your sitting position, you move the lower and upper parts of your spine independently of each other: if the upper part bends backwards, the lower part is automatically tilted forwards. Thus, every person has his or her unique "spinal imprint", which changes throughout the day with different postures. A rigid backrest offers only insufficient support.
Adaptable and highly flexible
The Please swivel chair is perfect for strenuous work where you sit for long periods, work with high concentration and use the computer intensively. Because every user has their own preferred sitting posture - some prefer to sit straight and upright, others prefer a relaxed, slightly reclined position. The Please swivel chair takes the individuality of its users into account by optimally adapting to each of the different sitting postures. In this way, the chair supports the different working styles, offers ideal support for the preferred posture and thus long-lasting sitting comfort.
Thanks to the two independent adjustment levers for the lower and upper backrest, everyone receives completely individual and complete back support - completely independent of body size, stature and preferred sitting position.
