Hito Side Table H55cm Oak Karl Andersson & Soener

The Hito coffee table (Japanese for "people") is inspired by the balance of stacked playing cards. Depending on the angle of view, it conveys a very unique expression. It is uncomplicated and yet refined in its design. The expressive, small wooden table is also stable and handy, making it easy to move. Hito is available in two heights, two diameters and different types of wood. It works well on its own, but is also perfect for use as a group. 

It all began in 1898, when master carpenter Karl Andersson started making "durable and sustainable furniture" in his family home in a Swedish village. Andersson was known for his creativity and boundless enthusiasm. Four of his five sons later joined the business. Over a hundred years later, the family business produces high-quality furniture in its own modern factory in Huskvarna, in southern Sweden, working together with successful designers. Many of these pieces of furniture have become classics, some of which have won prestigious awards or been part of famous exhibitions. Today, Karl Andersson & Söner is run by Karl's great-grandchildren Maria, Sara and Andreas, but the vision is still the same: high quality and convincing functionality. Integrity, sustainability and support for development work play a particularly important role for the company. 

The base of the Hito coffee table is moulded and the top is made of solid wood. It is available in oak, ash, standard stain and white pigmented oak and ash. The beautiful small design table is available in heights of 45 cm and 55 cm and diameters of 43 cm, 44 cm, 49 cm and 50 cm.
