PK3 / PK 3 Chair Fritz Hansen
Your advantages with einrichten design
personal, individual, passionately
Timeless geometry and organic feel: the PK3 chair by Fritz Hansen
With the PK3 chair, Fritz Hansen brings a rediscovered design by Poul Kjærholm from 1954 into its regular collection for the first time. The design is characterized by two mirror-image laminated veneer shells that are elegantly held together by a striking connecting element. Its balanced proportions and clear lines make it a sculptural object that shines in private dining rooms as well as in sophisticated public spaces. Thanks to the option of stacking up to five units, the chair combines aesthetic brilliance with functional flexibility in everyday life.

Poul Kjærholm - Masterful synthesis of craftsmanship and industrial materials
The chair designed by the trained cabinetmaker and graduate of the Danish School of Arts and Crafts Poul Kjærholm testifies to his great fascination with unusual construction materials. Kjærholm regarded steel in particular as a natural material, which he worked with the same artistic finesse as wood. After working for Fritz Hansen early on, he began a long and formative collaboration with Ejvind Kold Christensen in 1955, which lasted until his death. In 1982, Fritz Hansen finally took over the production of the legendary "Kjærholm Collection", into which the historic design of the PK3 now fits seamlessly.
