Classic: The Ant Chair 3101 4-leg frame Fritz Hansen
The ant chair is a very versatile chair. It is very often used in conference rooms, canteens, offices and in private areas.
Originally the Ant was designed for the canteen of Novo Nordisk, a Danish company, by Arne Jacobsen. In the meantime, the Fritz Hansen classic is one of the icons of the collection.
At first this was uncertain, as Fritz Hansen was not immediately convinced of the potential of this chair. The chair survived the initial skepticism when Arne Jacobsen vouched for the purchase of all chairs that were not sold.
Material and form
Despite its graceful and minimalist form, the Ant is an exceptionally comfortable chair. The Arne Jacobsen chair is a stackable wooden chair with a chrome frame with four legs.
