The Helping Friend shoehorn from Side by Side has a simple and timeless design. The extra-long shoehorn is not only visually appealing, but also functional, allowing you to slide it gently into your shoe - without having to bend down.
Side by Side - an extraordinary inclusion project
Side by side - the name says it all! Conceived in 2002 by product designer Sabine Meyer and realised together with the Caritas Wendelstein workshops, the factor product münchen design agency and many freelance designers, this project is unique! Together, people with and without disabilities create high-quality everyday objects in contemporary, modern designs that impress across the board.
Material and format
The simply designed shoehorn is made from oiled maple wood. It measures 49 cm in length, 4 cm in width and 0.8 cm in height.
