The Sonder chair with seat cushion measures 41.5 cm in width, 79 cm in height and 47.5 cm in depth. The piece of furniture is made exclusively from FSC®-certified, solid European oak, which comes from sustainable forestry in Bosnia and Herzegovina and guarantees the highest quality standards. The characteristic seat shell and backrest are created using a special compression moulding process with oak veneer. Weighing just 6.1 kg, the chair can be used flexibly despite its robust construction. The upholstery is made of fire-retardant foam and is covered with the high-quality Kvadrat Hallingdal 65 fabric, which is made of 70% wool and is available in various colours. The natural oil treatment of the wood gives the surface a warm, silky lustre and protects it from daily wear and tear. Over the years, the natural patination of the wood develops an even more pronounced characteristic that emphasises the subtle details of the craftsmanship.
