The 'Plopp' family of stools was first introduced in September 2009 at the 'Young Creative Designers of Poland' exhibition; it consists of a miniature stool, a standard stool and a kitchen stool.
All the stools in the 'Plopp' family are made using the innovative FiDU process, in which two wafer-thin steel sheets are welded together at their edges and then inflated under high pressure to create a three-dimensional shape.
The FiDU process enables the mass production of individualised objects. The objects produced using the FiDU process are very light and at the same time very durable.
You can also order extra socks for the chair legs. This makes the product noiseless.
You can also order a seat cushion for the Plopp stool. The top is made of felt and the bottom is made of synthetic leather.
Or the top is made of felt (grey) and the bottom is made of fleece (dark grey).
