Designer Tommy Hyldahl is the founder of NORR11. He is responsible for the creative DNA of the manufacturer and his interest in the materials and production processes is evident in every single NORR11 product. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The company's focus is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. The natural frame of the Hippo chair is made of solid, FSC-certified oak. The seat and backrest upholstery with foam filling can be ordered with the following optional covers.The seat is 47.5 cm wide, 59 cm deep and 79.5 cm high. The seat height is 49 cm.

- Cura fabric: 98% recycled polyester from post-consumer waste 2% polyester
- Fabric Chili: 100% recycled polyester from post-consumer waste (recycled content within the fibre)
