Takagi & Homstvedt - innovation meets tradition
Behind the Rime Rail pendant light is the designer duo TAF Studio, consisting of the creative minds Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom. The Swedish duo are known for their ability to reinterpret everyday objects with a contemporary twist. Their designs are characterised by clean lines, functionality and a special love of materials. With the Rime Rail luminaire, they show how modern design can stylishly revitalise traditional forms.
Material and format
The Rime Rail pendant light consists of a matt black aluminium rail and three light shades made of mouth-blown opal glass, which produce a softly diffused light. The rail has a length of 110 cm, while each glass globe has a diameter of 12 cm. The dimmable luminaire is available in black, white and orange and is powered by energy-efficient LEDs.
