The Layout Armchair 262 from HAY combines a clear, sculptural silhouette with a comfortable seating experience and is both elegant and inviting. The injection-moulded polypropylene shell brings a calm, modern atmosphere to a variety of interiors. Julien Renault - The poetry of the everyday
The Layout Chair was created by French designer Julien Renault, who runs his studio in Brussels. Renault's design approach is characterised by finding inspiration in the everyday and transforming ordinary things into objects of special beauty. His work, which combines rational methods with artistic freedom, explores the deep relationship between objects and their surroundings. He has already designed the successful Pastis collection and the Compass lamps for HAY, which emphasises his ability to create functional yet expressive designs.
