The wooden duck ensemble has designer Hans Bølling dedicated to the heroic deed of a Danish policeman.
On a beautiful spring day in Copenhagen in 1959, he stopped traffic to help a family of ducks cross a street safely. This event went through the press - and helped everyone who read it to think back to the small moments of happiness.
These small moments of happiness are exactly what Architectmade's Duck and Duckling wooden ducks are meant to embody. Let "Duck" and several "Ducklings" cross a shelf or a windowsill and enjoy the small joys of life.
Designer Hans Bølling
Designer Hans Bølling is known for his sense of humor - he is very passionate about putting his ideas into practice and creative products. His interest in architecture brought him back to school after his training as an advertising designer. At the beginning of his career, he made small figurines as gifts for family and friends. This paved the way to becoming a designer of wooden figurines.
Material and size
The figurines are made by hand from teak wood. The small duck is 9 cm and the big duck is 18 cm high.
