The Tropicalia armchair from Moroso, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is an extraordinary piece of furniture for indoor and outdoor use. Since its premiere at the Milan Furniture Salon in 2008, it has been inspiring with its geometric design language and the artistic weave that combines graphic structures with a lively lightness. The frame is made of sturdy stainless steel tubing, which is characterised by clear, faceted basic shapes. The surfaces are filled with a robust, thermoplastic weave made from recyclable plastic threads, which are carefully woven in double and triple weaves. This creates characteristic patterns that are both visually and haptically fascinating.
With its ergonomic seating position, inclined armrests and backrest, the chair not only offers a strong visual presence, but also a high level of comfort.
