Classic look: 310 Haussmann armchair Walter Knoll
Like Chesterfield furniture, the appealing diamond pattern structures the seat and back of the Haussmann armchair by Walter Knoll. The design was created by Trix and Robert Haussmann, who also gave their name to the series. The traditional upholstery technique of capitoning provides the special look. With the minimalist frame, the design is also a homage to the Bauhaus era.
Material and format
The interior of the armchair consists of a wooden construction, the firmly upholstered seat and back are made of cold foam in sandwich construction with wadding cover, the slatted base is equipped with straps. The upholstery is classically hand-laid in Chesterfield folds and then capitulated with symmetrically arranged leather buttons. The base is round steel legs in black chrome or high-gloss chrome. The armchair is 86 cm wide, 72 cm deep and 70 cm high. The seat height is 41 cm.
