The name says it all - the back of the Bufala Dining Chair consists of several layers of oak veneer and its shape is clearly reminiscent of the horns of a buffalo. The shape also ensures a pleasant sitting comfort, as the back and armrests gently wrap around the body.

Design team Hansen + Hydahl

Designer Tommy Hyldahl is the founderof NORR11. He is responsible for the creative DNA of the manufacturer and his interest in the materials and production processes is evident in every single NORR11 product. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts . The two designers share a passion for Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian tradition, which they combine in their designs to create timeless furniture.

NORR11 - Scandinavian design

The Danish furniture manufacturer NORR11 was founded in 2011. The company's focus is to redefine and rethink the understanding of Scandinavian design and thus create timeless pieces of furniture that combine the present and the past. This goal is achieved through collaboration with innovative young designers. This results in products of outstanding craftsmanship and quality.

Material and format

The Buffalo Dining Chair is made of solid oak wood and laminated oak veneer. It is available non-upholstered or upholstered . The chair is 54.4 cm wide, 50.5 cm deep and 75 cm high. The seat height is 45.5 cm.
