Designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck used the iconic shape of a bell as the starting point for their design. The smooth, rounded surface gives the lamp a cast-iron appearance. A white interior reflects the light and diffuses it into the surrounding area.

Jacob Rudbeck and Andreas Lund completed their university studies in 2000. Rudbeck graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Lund from the Danish Design School – afterwards, they founded a design studio together.
