Iconic elegance: 3D Counter Stool from GUBI
The GUBI 3D Counter Stool combines Scandinavian design language with technical innovation. Its three-dimensionally moulded wooden shell looks light and organic, while the slender steel frame ensures stability and clarity. Designed by the Danish design studio Komplot Design (Poul Christiansen & Boris Berlin), the 3D Counter Stool was the first piece of furniture based on the technique of three-dimensionally moulded veneer in 2003. With this innovation, GUBI set new standards in furniture design. Today, the stool is a design icon and is even part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
