Transparent, iconic, durable: Louis Ghost chair in a set of 4 by Kartell 

Star designer Philippe Starck created a comfortable little armchair made of transparent polycarbonate in the style of Luis XIV. It embodies the typical style of the Baroque in a stunning and enchanting new version. Louis Ghost is made in one piece from injection-moulded polycarbonate. It appears incredibly light and filigree, but is nevertheless extremely comfortable, stable and robust, as well as weatherproof, shockproof and scratchproof. 

Design by Philippe Starck 

The name Philippe Starck should be familiar to everyone. With Juicy Salif, for example, the French exceptional talent designed the probably best-known juice squeezer in the world for Alessi and the famous Masters chairs and Ghost chairs by Kartell also come from his pen. Incidentally, Philippe Starck gets his best ideas on an island, where he devotes himself entirely to his creativity in a rudimentarily furnished fisherman's hut.

Material and format 

The stackable Louis Ghost chair made of transparent polycarbonate is 54 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 94 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm.
