Swinging Sixties: Flowerpot VP1 Pendant Light by andtradition
The well-known Flowerpot pendant lamp by andtradition has become a synonym of the Flower Power movement in the 60s. In its design, it reflects a time in which conventions were bypassed and an open and modern mentality was established. This happened quite fitting to the harmonious and peaceful attitude of designer Verner Panton, who was one of the most future-oriented talents of his time.

An inspiring and colourful personality , Verner Panton has a unique sense of colour, form, light function and space. Throughout his career, the designer produced modern luminaires with personality unlike any other Scandinavian designer. His remarkable confidence in the unlimited possibilities of shapes led him to develop a number of new theories about how lighting works and how it can influence its surroundings.
